Which gravity disc sizes fit the Alfa Laval MAB 104?

The MAB 104 uses a set of seven gravity (regulating) discs with hole diameters of 57.5, 60, 63, 68, 73.5, 83 and 93.5 mm. The correct disc is selected from the oil's specific gravity and separating temperature using Alfa Laval's nomograph — larger holes for lighter oils. We supply the full gravity disc set as well as individual discs for the MAB 104B-14/24.

Is the MAB 104 a purifier or a clarifier?

Both. The MAB 104B-14/24 has a solid-wall (solids-retaining) bowl supplied either as a purifier with all-stainless-steel parts, or as a combined purifier/clarifier with brass/stainless parts. We stock bowl spares and conversion parts for both configurations.
