What is a dry exchangeable cylinder liner?

Hatlapa and Sperre use dry liners — a replaceable sleeve pressed into the cylinder with no direct water contact — so at overhaul you renew the liner rather than re-boring the block. We stock the liners as a standard wear part.

Are reconditioned air-compressor parts reliable?

Yes. Alang-recovered compressors are stripped, liners and crankshafts measured to the maker's wear limits, valves, rings and bearings renewed, then run up and pressure-tested to 30 bar with a report. Typically 30–60% below new, and often the only source for legacy Sperre and Tanabe units.
