Engine Room — Main Propulsion

Purification & Cooling

Heavy fuel and lube oil pass through self-cleaning separators before injection, while plate coolers and the fresh-water generator manage jacket heat and top up domestic and boiler water. Starting Air

Every cold start of the main engine and gensets draws on the 30-bar starting-air system charged by reciprocating air compressors.
