How Alang reconditioning works

The unit is opened, the plate pack removed and every plate separated for inspection.

Clean (CIP)

Plates are chemically cleaned and descaled to restore the heat-transfer surface.

Dye-test plates

Each plate is dye-penetrant tested; cracked or thinned plates are rejected, not repaired.

Step 4

Renew gaskets

Old gaskets are stripped and new gaskets fitted — clip-on or glued to the maker's spec.

Step 5

Re-assemble to dimension
