Provision-plant compressors cool the ship's stores and freezer rooms, reefer compressors handle refrigerated cargo and containers, and air-conditioning compressors serve the accommodation HVAC. They are often the same reciprocating or screw machines from Sabroe, Bitzer or Mycom in different duties, so the wear parts — valve plates, shaft seals and bearings — overlap heavily and we supply all three duties.

Suction and discharge valve plates are the most frequent wear item on a reciprocating refrigeration compressor and are typically inspected and renewed on the maker's running-hour schedule, or sooner if capacity drops or the compressor knocks. Yes. The mechanical shaft seal is one of our most-ordered refrigeration items. We supply complete shaft seal kits — the mechanical seal, gaskets and O-rings — for Sabroe, Bitzer, Mycom/Mayekawa, Bock and Carrier compressors, in genuine, OEM-equivalent and reconditioned grades.

Yes. Beyond the compressor we supply the whole refrigeration circuit — thermostatic expansion valves, solenoid valves, filter driers, pressure and HP/LP controls and refrigeration oil — for R134a, R404A, R407, legacy R22 and ammonia plant.

Reconditioned items are dimensionally inspected against the maker's wear limits, crack-tested and pressure-tested where applicable, and valve plates and shaft seals are checked for sealing. You receive condition notes before the parts are packed.

Often, yes. Obsolete compressors are exactly where the Alang reconditioning channel is strongest — valve plates, shaft seals, bearings and even complete compressors no longer made by the OEM can frequently be recovered, inspected and restored from recycled vessels.
