What oil tanker spare parts does Wattmare supply?
We supply spares for the whole vessel — slow-speed 2-stroke main engine, ABB/MHI turbochargers, diesel gensets, Framo and Shinko cargo pumps, steam-turbine-driven main cargo pumps, inert gas generator (IGG), crude-oil-washing (COW) gear, tank-heating coils, boilers, purifiers, heat exchangers, air compressors and refrigeration plant. Which main engines do you cover for tankers?
MAN B&W and WinGD/Sulzer slow-speed 2-stroke engines — from legacy MC and Sulzer RTA/RND series to electronically controlled ME, RT-flex and X-engines. We carry liners, piston crowns and rings, fuel valves, exhaust-valve gear and bearings for all of them.
Do you supply Framo and Shinko cargo-pump parts?
Yes. We supply mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, hydraulic drive components and gland packing for Framo deepwell hydraulic cargo pumps and Shinko centrifugal pumps, as well as parts for steam-turbine-driven main cargo pumps on larger crude tankers.
Can you source inert gas system (IGG) and COW spares?
Yes. We source inert gas generator blowers, scrubber and deck-seal parts, pressure/vacuum valves, and crude-oil-washing machine drive and nozzle spares. These are SOLAS-critical, so we prioritise genuine or class-acceptable parts and dispatch them on the fastest route.
What turbochargers do you stock for tankers?
ABB VTR, TPL, TPS and A100/A200 series, and MHI MET series. We supply complete rotor assemblies, cartridges, nozzle rings, bearings and full overhaul kits, including reconditioned rotors recovered from Alang for older models.
Do you supply genuine, OEM-equivalent or reconditioned parts?
All three. Genuine OEM for SOLAS-critical and class-surveyed items, quality OEM-equivalent for running spares to save cost, and reconditioned parts from Alang for the fastest delivery and for obsolete or hard-to-find components. We advise on the best option for each part.
How fast can you deliver to a tanker?
Confirmed orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours from our base in Bhavnagar, beside Alang, to any loading terminal or discharge port worldwide. We handle documentation, HS codes and forwarding so your tanker clears her laycan without demurrage.
Which tanker size classes do you support?
Every class — Handysize, MR, LR1, LR2/Aframax, Suezmax and VLCC — covering both crude and product/chemical trades. Tell us the class and engine type and we match the correct spares.
Why is your Alang location an advantage for tanker owners?
Bhavnagar sits beside Alang, the world’s largest ship-recycling yard, where crude and product tankers are dismantled. That gives us direct access to genuine OEM components — turbocharger rotors, cylinder covers, pump casings, IGG parts — recovered, inspected and reconditioned, often the only fast source for obsolete spares, at 30–50% below European supplier prices.
What information do you need to quote?
The tanker’s size class, main-engine and turbocharger make and model, part numbers or a clear nameplate photo, the delivery port, and ideally the IMO number so we can confirm the exact configuration. With that we usually quote the same day.
Do you supply boiler and tank-heating spares?
Yes. We supply burner assemblies, gauge glasses, valves and heating-coil components for the boiler plant and cargo/tank-heating system that keep heavy crude and high-viscosity products at pumping temperature.
Can you handle emergency parts for a tanker on demurrage?
Yes — emergency supply is our core strength. Send the requirement on WhatsApp with the part number or nameplate photo; we quote against stock and Alang inventory the same day and dispatch within 24–48 hours to keep the vessel on her laycan.
Do you supply spares for steering gear and deck machinery?
Yes. We supply steering-gear pump and ram seals, rudder-carrier and tiller components, plus hydraulic spares for mooring winches and the windlass — the deck machinery a tanker relies on during loading, discharge and STS operations.
Do you ship to UAE and Singapore tanker hubs?
Yes. We regularly ship to Fujairah, Jebel Ali, Singapore, Ras Tanura and other major tanker hubs, as well as ports across Europe, the Americas and the Far East, with full export documentation handled from India.
