Do you supply spare parts for both Moss-type and membrane LNG carriers?
Yes. We supply engine-room, cargo-plant and auxiliary spares for both Moss-type spherical-tank carriers and membrane containment vessels (GTT Mark III and NO96). The containment system mainly affects cargo-handling layout; the propulsion, power-generation and auxiliary machinery we cover is common to both.
Can you provide parts for MAN ME-GI and WinGD X-DF dual-fuel engines?
Yes. We supply gas-admission and gas-injection valves, pilot-fuel injectors, exhaust valves, liners, piston crowns, bearings and electronic control components for MAN B&W ME-GI and WinGD X-DF engines, in genuine, OEM-equivalent and reconditioned grades.
Do you stock spares for DFDE diesel-electric LNG carriers?
Yes. For DFDE vessels we supply spares for Wartsila DF, MAN and Caterpillar dual-fuel gensets, plus high-voltage switchboard, breaker and propulsion-motor electrical components that make up the diesel-electric propulsion plant.
What about older steam-turbine LNG carriers?
We support legacy steam-propelled LNG tonnage with gland packing, bearings, governor and control valves, condenser tubes and boiler-feed components. Many of these parts are sourced reconditioned from decommissioned vessels at Alang.
Can you supply cargo compressor and reliquefaction plant spares?
Yes. We supply HD and LD cargo compressor valves, bearings and seals, boil-off gas handling components and reliquefaction/re-gasification skid spares, helping keep cargo handling and BOG management fully available.
Do you handle cryogenic cargo pump spares?
We source replacement and reconditioned internals — bearings, seals, impellers and shafts — for deepwell and submerged cargo and spray pumps that operate at −163°C. Send us the pump maker and model and we will advise on availability.
How fast can you deliver an emergency LNG carrier part?
Our standard emergency target is 24–48 hours to most major LNG terminals and bunkering hubs worldwide, dispatched from Bhavnagar by the fastest viable air or courier route once availability and payment are confirmed.
What is the difference between genuine, OEM-equivalent and reconditioned parts?
Genuine parts are supplied by the original equipment manufacturer; OEM-equivalent parts are made to the same specification by quality manufacturers; reconditioned parts are genuine components recovered, inspected, NDT-checked where relevant and condition-graded. We help you choose based on criticality, class requirements, budget and lead time.
Are reconditioned parts from Alang reliable for critical systems?
Reconditioned components are graded and best suited to back-up and non-critical applications, or where new supply lead times are prohibitive. For class-critical items we recommend genuine or OEM-equivalent. Every reconditioned part is inspected and graded so you know exactly what you are receiving.
Which size classes of LNG carrier do you cover?
All of them — small-scale and bunkering carriers, conventional 138,000–180,000 m³ ships, Q-Flex and Q-Max vessels, and FSRU/regas-fitted units. The propulsion makers differ, but we cover the full range of engines and auxiliaries used across the fleet.
Can I order parts for the whole vessel in one enquiry?
Yes, and we encourage it. A single enquiry can cover main engine, turbocharger, gensets, cargo plant, purification, air and refrigeration systems — consolidated into one quotation, one shipment and one set of documents.
What information do you need to quote an LNG carrier part?
The maker and model of the equipment, the part number or drawing reference, the quantity required, and clear photographs of the component and its maker plate. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurately we can confirm availability and grade.
Do you ship to LNG terminals and bunkering ports worldwide?
Yes. We regularly dispatch to Ras Laffan, Sabine Pass, Singapore, Fujairah, Gladstone, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam and other major terminals, working with your port agent or technical superintendent to ensure smooth delivery and customs clearance.
Do you supply turbocharger spares for LNG carrier engines?
Yes. We supply rotors, bearings, nozzle rings, cartridges and overhaul kits for ABB TPL and A-series, MHI MET and Napier turbochargers fitted to dual-fuel main engines and gensets, in genuine, OEM-equivalent and reconditioned options.
